Warzone has a variety of weapons in Season 5, especially with the Black Ops Cold War integration. Knowing exactly how these weapons work is essential to success, so here is how you can check the fire rate of every weapon in Warzone.

Warzone Season 5 Reloaded is host to an abundance of weapons.

From SMGs and ARs to Snipers and LMGs, every weapon handles differently, and knowing exactly how the fire can be life or death.

Knowing how these weapons work isn’t just important for your loadouts but more so for when you are in those early-game moments and situations where you have to use floor loot.

To be a great Warzone player, you’ll need to know the ins and outs of each weapon, not only for your own sake but also so you can identify which weapons the enemy is using.

The best way to check the fire rate of a weapon in Warzone depends on which game the weapon you are using is from. Both Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons have slightly different ways to let you know how the weapon operates.

Whether you’re in the Gulag or just dropped into Verdansk with a weapon you’ve looted off the floor, you can always tell what fire rate the weapon has by checking out these simple indications.

There are three different indicators for three different fire rates. Here are the indicators for MW weapons:

  1. A single bullet which means the weapon is semi-automatic
  2. Three bullets that indicates a burst weapon
  3. Finally, a stack of bullets indicates that the weapon is fully automatic.

As for the Black Ops Cold War weapons, the indicators are slightly different, as they are actually in the form of your cross-hairs:

  1. Four striped cross-hair is fully automatic
  2. The four striped crosshairs with a dot at each end is a burst weapon
  3. A three striped crosshair means the weapon is semi-automatic

There you have it. That’s how you can tell what kind of fire rate the weapon you are holding is for both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons.

It will be interesting to see which form Call of Duty: Vanguard’s weapons will hold. Still, as the game seems to be following in Modern Warfare’s footsteps with the engine and mini-map, it’s likely to be the same indicators once the game is integrated into Warzone.
